We were invited to deep clean and restore this bathroom that was fitted with full travertine tiles. As with any tiles, time and the varying temperatures had created a lot of ingrained dirt. The grout lines looked black, and you can see as the moisture level rises, so does the level of grime.

If you have natural stone tiles in your bathroom, general and routine upkeep will help keep them looking better for longer. Here are some tips that may help you reduce deterioration:
Make sure that you have a running fan in the room. This should be turned higher when you are using the bathroom. It should be set to run on low all of the time and even when the room is not being used.
Keep your walls clean. Moisture and condensation will rise and drip down your walls. It is therefore important to wipe down your walls regularly. This will stop the build-up on the tiles.
