Our clients wanted to sell their property. Their estate agent had advised them to get their hallway tiles professionally restored. This would allow them to get the best possible price for their property. After attempting to get the floor cleaned by different tradesmen and trying themselves, MCS Stonecare were recommended. This was a great opportunity for us to complete a test patch on the tiles.

Porcelain Tile Restoration – Our Inspection:

Porcelain Tile Restoration London Porcelain Tile Restoration RedbridgeOn inspection, there were patches of old sealer, paint splashes etc all over the floor. These had accumulated over the years by messy tradesmen. After completing a cleaning test area, our clients were very happy to go ahead.

After protecting the surrounding areas, a stripping cleaning solution was applied and worked into the floor tiles to remove the patch and damaged seal and paint etc. The floor was then cleaned with steam and a powerful extraction system. After drying the floor off, an impregnating seal was applied and dried. This leaves the floor looking how it should have done when it was first laid.

Ingrained dirt and dullness is a slow, creeping process. It is often not until your floor tiles are professionally cleaned that you realise their true colour. And it is always a wonderful part of the process to see our clients reactions to their beautiful stone floors.
