We include a pre-clean survey on all our jobs as standard. It is extremely important to do a survey and clean an area of the customer’s choice where possible for many reasons.
Firstly, our clients get to know who they are dealing with. It also gives us the opportunity to find out the requirements of the customer and the finishes that can be achieved.
The information learned from completing a cleaning demonstration of a small area will give a good idea of what the finished marble floor will look like. It will also help with the following reasons;
- It will define the type of the surface material
- Skilled operatives will be able to identify any unforeseen problems and difficulties
- It will help let us assess how long the job will take
- The process allows us to select what equipment, sealers, impregnators and cleaning products to use
- During the process we can identify what furniture is in the room, what needs to be moved and what can be protected by being covered with sheets
- Importantly, it will help us more accurately price the job
- Before entering the property, it allows us the opportunity to find the address and identify any parking issues or restrictions
