This fairly new high-end Turkish restaurant has only been open a couple of years. It has become very popular in a short period of time. The décor is very lavish. There was no expense spared in getting the look of Restaurant exactly to the owners wishes.
The restaurant floor is made up of Black Marquina marble and white Carrara marble tiles. These marble tiles have been laid in lines to give a striped effect, which looks very impressive. Unfortunately, a combination of high traffic, kitchen grease, a poor cleaning regime and a high foot traffic volume meant the finish of the floor did not last very long. This left the floor looking dull and grubby. This was not an appropriate look for the Restaurant at all.
MCS Stonecare were asked to have a look at the floor. We were asked to see if it could be brought back to a high polish finish again. After doing a test, the client was very eager to go ahead with the job.
The marble cleaning was completed in three days and the client was delighted with the result. A maintenance plan has been put in place which we have already completed.
